If you want to try a different approach. Follow these steps, it does work. My old physical trainer gave me this. Avoid fast food saturated fats, trans fat. Salt. Read your packages. So 1st . Eat dessert first to get metabolism going 2nd eat meat n potatoes or rice. 3rd. Eat vegetables last. So, EATING.. sweets get metabolism going to burn food. Speed up digestion. Which will process meat fasters and potatoes or rice try not to eat pasta. Too much starch. Vegas or salad is fiber. That is needed to push food through stomach and intestines. Hence , if the meal you eat is pushed through your system faster, your body has less chance to absorb carbs and fats. Avoid margarine or butter. Fast food. Try using lean meat baked. Or fish. Red meat is too heavy on the system. Try it, it worked for me. But the important thing is to eat dessert first. Say, small piece of cake ,pie, small bar like eatmore. Molasses is good for you. Peanut will help eliminate waste faster too. I lost 60 lbs by this. Is 3 weeks. Plus lots of water. Watch your salt content too. Good luck young man. Stay safe.
